FAQ’S

Q1. What kind of children do you cater for?
Ans: We cater for children with any disability.

Q2. What ages do you cater for?
Ans: We cater from 5 upwards with no maximum limit to age.

Q3. What are your charges ?
Ans: We charge £12 (Sept 2022) a session for private funding students and £14 a session on direct payments. Fees are paid in a term in advance and students will be liable to pay the full cost of any sessions missed (Prices are subject to change). Fees are paid directly to the Madrasah account via bank transfer

Q4. Where are you based?
Ans: We are based at 35 Shear Bank Rd (Old Coach House Nursery), Blackburn, BB1 8AP, United Kingdom and offer 1:1 in the home in exceptional circumstances.

Q5. What times do you teach?
Ans: Our running times are between 515-715 pm Mon-Fri (hourly slots), Saturday 9:30-12:30pm & Sunday 12-2pm.

Q6. What are your class sizes?

Our class sizes are small and can vary between 1:1 to a small class of a maximum of 5 children and 3 teaching staff.

Q7. What do you teach?

Our 1 hour sessions are split into 3x 20 minutes or 4x 15minutes depending on the ability of the pupil. In a session where they have

3 x 20 minutes, they will typically learn according to the below format:

First 20 minutes – Daily Duas, Kalimahs, Surats by memory

Second 20 minutes – Theory of a topic e.g. five pillars of Islam

Final 20 minutes- Practical related to the topic being discussed e.g. five pillars of Islam and recap of key points in session.

4x 15 minutes format will typically consist of the below:

First 15 minutes – Daily Duas, Kalimahs, Surats by memory

Second 15 minutes – Arabic letters/ Qaidah / Quran

Third 15 minutes – Theory of a topic e.g. five pillars of Islam

Final 15 minutes – Practical related to the topic being discussed e.g. five pillars of Islam and recap of key points in session.

We have our own personalised curriculum which is person centred and focusses on the pupil developing social skills, developing independence & life skills, developing fine & gross motor skills and preparation into adulthood with an Islamic ethos.
